Over the course of the three-day event, D.C. will host a slate of Draft activities, including a variety of community events, the Draft Concert Series and the NFL Draft Experience.

NFL analysts have also shared compensatory pick projections for the 2027 draft. Under the terms of the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement, the league also can assign as many as 32 additional “compensatory free agent” picks, which allow clubs that have lost free agents to another team to use the draft to try to fill the void. The 91st edition of the NFL Draft was hosted in Pittsburgh. A total of 257 picks were spread over seven rounds and three days from April 23-25 at Point State Park and Acrisure Stadium. The 2026 NFL Draft drew a record attendance of 805,000 across the three days, including a record 320,000 on Thursday for Round 1.
The time between first-round selections was shortened from 10 minutes to eight minutes. It was first timing adjustment since 2008, when the allotment dropped from 15 minutes to 10 minutes. The timing for Rounds 2-7 was unchanged from last year.
